Johannesburg, 30 May 2006 In compliance with United Kingdom Listing Authority regulations, African Rainbow Minerals Limited (JSE : ARI) hereby advises that the Company will be terminating its secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange with effect from the close of trading on 30 June 2006.
A nonresident subregister will be opened within the South African share register to which the entire United Kingdom register will be transferred.
The reason for the termination of the secondary listing was as a result of the high cost of maintaining a secondary listing.
